Some of us Idaho locals got together and brainstormed a list of activities people might be interested in. We can always add to this list, and provide more detail as we get closer. Eventually, we may move some activities to their own post so people can have conversations only about that particular activity.

I’m just checking to see if making comments without an account works. Hello everyone!
Hey all, just wanted to throw some ideas around to see who all would be interested in what! Stack Rock hike – this hike is about 8 miles I think and takes around 4-5 hours to complete. I think this one would be fun for some of the adults, but probably a little much for the kiddos. Nearby the stack rock trail head, is the Bogus Basin ski resort (both roughly 45 minutes to an hour from our house). This place has other trails that surround the ski slopes, and offers you access (for a small fee) to the ski… Read more »
It probably goes without saying, but I expect to throw some Frisbee around, either in sport (Ultimate, anyone?) or leisure form. There’s a good chance I or someone in my family will bring a disc.
P.S. Account registration isn’t currently working out for me, so I’ll go with “Guest.”
EDIT: huh, it says “member” on this post, but I still haven’t actually set up my account. *shrug*
Sorry Brian, this is still kinda “beta” since I haven’t had a large number of testers yet. Some of my spam controls might be blocking legitimate registrations. Have you tried clicking on the “My Profile” at the top right and logging in there if asked? Hmu @ kevinmharper@gmail.com and you can help me figure out the problem. On the frisbee note, Jaden says our backyard will support an Ultimate Frisbee game. Also there is a very popular Frisbee Golf course at Ann Morrison Park (next to the Boise River where I’ve baptized a few of my kids). I could hook… Read more »
I’d be down for some ultimate (though I’m not very good!). We can either do that in our backyard or there are plenty of parks around if we want a bit more space.
Sign me up for disc-related activities (ultimate, golf, and/or leisure)
I always love a good sunset at Table Rock, which is a lookout above downtown Boise where the views are killer!
I have a special surprise for 4th of July fireworks. I can also take some people shooting if anyone is interested. The only day I couldn’t get off is 7/2 but I’m off at 5 and can meet up for anything going on that afternoon.
There’s also Big Al’s or Dave & Buster’s as an option.
Should I be scared of this “special surprise”?
